1. What we collect
When you use this site, we collect:
- Account information — name, email address, and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
- Listing and transaction information — domains you list, offers you make, and payment records (amount, status, method — not full card or bank details, see below).
- Alert preferences — TLDs, categories, and budget you've asked to be notified about.
- IP address and approximate country — recorded when you create an account, used for security, fraud prevention, and to enforce our no-VPN policy (see our Terms and Conditions).
- Basic usage data — pages visited and general browsing activity, used to operate and improve the site.
2. Payment data
We do not store your full card number, bank credentials, or crypto wallet private keys. Card payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal payments by PayPal, cryptocurrency payments by our payment processor, and escrow transactions by a licensed third-party escrow provider — each handles your payment details under their own privacy policy and security standards.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the marketplace: creating your account, processing listings and payments, sending domain alerts and transaction notifications you've opted into, verifying domain ownership, unlocking the partner perks available to registered members, and protecting the platform from fraud and abuse (including detecting VPN or proxy use, which is not permitted — see our Terms and Conditions).
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data sharing
We don't sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary information with the payment processors above to complete a transaction you've initiated, and with a domain's buyer/seller as needed to complete a transfer (e.g. contact details required for handover).
For a private listing, the domain and business name are withheld from public view until the seller chooses to disclose them to a specific interested buyer directly — see our Terms and Conditions. For an investment-listing inquiry, your contact details are shared only with that listing's seller so they can respond to you, and are not published or shared any further by us.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account, by contacting us at the email address in the site footer. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
